What do you think is your best part of working for Meridian?
In the 22 years I have worked at Meridian I have worked in several countries around the world where we have facilities. I have learned many new skills and made numerous friends during this time.
Can you describe some of the success you've had with the quality team?
One of the successes we have had within the CI team is the 5s + 1 training. We have trained almost everyone at MLTI. We can see from how the plant looks that the training and involvement from the employees is paying off. A big part of the training is the Kaizens ,we have seen a huge success with this on the shop floor.
What’s something you’ve currently got in the works that you’re excited about?
We are currently working on MLS 2 training. With working on the training we as a team are also learning new skills along the journey. This can be used when helping with new programs and improving older programs in the plant. While training we get to interact with many different people in the plant from operators to engineers which gives us many different perspectives.
Favorite memory from your time at Meridian
Favorite memory would no doubt be the time spent working in Italy and the UK . I learned so much and met many special people who are still friends today. It was also very nice to be able to share this time with my family.
