Meridian Technologies Inc., the world's largest supplier of magnesium die cast automotive components, is pleased to announce that both its Magnesium Products Division of Strathroy Ontario and Magnesium Products of America Division of Eaton Rapids Michigan were 2 of 10 suppliers to DaimlerChrysler chosen to receive the prestigious 2004 Gold Award.
This award, which recognizes world-class performance, is granted to an elite group of automotive suppliers who pass the rating levels established as criteria for recipients. These ratings include the areas of quality, technology, cost, customer service and delivery.

Rick Lumsden, Plant Manager for Meridian's Eaton Rapids facility added " It is rare that two facilities within a company receive this award simultaneously.
