For the first time ever, this year’s conference will take place in the Chinese city of Beijing. Jointly organized by the International Magnesium Association (IMA) and the Chinese Magnesium Association (CMA), this event promises to build on the success of the 2005 Conference held in Berlin, Germany which saw record-setting attendance.
A total of 20 technical papers will be presented, including Meridian Technologies Inc.’s paper titled “Magnesium in Automobiles-Application Trends and Advantages” along with over 50 exhibitors to explore the latest in magnesium technologies and industry related products.
With a manufacturing facility already up and running in Shanghai, China, it is only fitting that Meridian is playing a major role at this historic event. China has become the largest magnesium production and supply base in the world and is recognized as the market having the most potential for growth.
