Meridian Technologies is proud to sponsor WJR AM 760’s live broadcast from the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) World Congress 2007. This year’s show, hosted by Toyota Motor Corporation, takes place at Detroit’s Cobo Hall and runs from Monday April 16th through Thursday April 19th.
The theme for this year’s event, marking the first time an Asian OEM has hosted the Congress, is “Engineering For Global Sustainable Mobility: It’s Up To Us”.
The SAE World Congress is the largest technical program in the world that features over 1,500 technical presentations covering topics that include Materials, Safety/Testing, Emissions/Environment, Propulsion/Powertrain and more. There are over 800 exhibitors at the show along with an OEM/Supplier Park which provides the opportunity to meet management and engineering staff from OEM and Tier One supplier companies. This year’s park features companies such as Toyota, Daimler Chrysler, BMW, Ford, General Motors and a host of Tier One suppliers.
The need for weight reduction has never been as prevalent as increasing fuel prices and increasing environmental concerns such as global warming and CO² emissions are re shaping the automotive industry.
Listen to hear how Meridian Technologies brings to “light” it’s strengths as your global source for magnesium die casting design, engineering and manufacturing solutions that meet and often exceed today’s automotive requirements.
