Strathroy, Ontario, Canada – June 1, 2009. Meridian Lightweight Technologies Inc. ("Meridian") announced today that Jeff Moyer will be joining Meridian as its Vice President, Business Development and Engineering, effective immediately. Jeff will be responsible for overseeing and supporting Meridian’s global strategic business development activities, as well as leading the company’s sales and marketing, program management and product engineering resources.
Prior to joining Meridian, Jeff has held progressively responsible positions in the automotive industry, most recently as Vice President of Plante & Moran Global Services, where he assisted many automotive and non-automotive clients with the development and implementation of their global business strategies, including international engineering and program management. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Detroit.
